New Again Interiors is a unique concept in interior design. Using individual clients' furnishings and/or furnishings found mostly at Massachusetts Recycling Centers, known locally as "the dump", the owners, Susan Shoch and Anne Metcalfe, rehab/refinish the furniture and decorate the rooms to appeal to today’s tastes. Working with our clients, we will redo a room or an entire house.
In this time of global warming, it is important to reduce the waste in our society. Americans throw away rather than recycle, discard when a better or newer version comes along, all the while good design gets lost. More importantly, we use energy and materials to produce the new, while the old is wasted, discarded, and expensive to dispose of.
The business plan of New Again Interiors is to use the discarded and create an interior of which both the homeowners and NAI can be proud.
